Today the news is dominated by an abundance of negativity and pessimism. The purpose of this newsletter is to provide you with a regular dose of positive and encouraging content you can count on in every issue you receive. Reading the principles, insights, and advice in these newsletters will be beneficial, educational, and inspirational to every person who applies them.
Over the years, many people have come to us looking for answers to life's most important questions. For over 30 years, Pastor Chuck Covell has been able to provide them with the answers they've needed. Many people have also called or come to us for help when they have needed spiritual guidance, prayer requests, food, clothing, and especially items for their new-born babies including car seats, strollers, cribs, diapers, and baby clothes. All of this has been possible thanks to friends like you who were willing to share with people in need. Our vision is for this newsletter to become a vehicle through which we can help thousands of people. In addition to being a ministry of education, encouragement, and outreach, we also have a goal to create a network of people who can help each other. We hope to establish connections among like-minded people to form a community of Christians eager to help others in need.
In addition to our local ministry we started this Sunday, we have started Good News and Golden Nuggets because we are focused on expanding our ministry beyond the boundaries of local ministry. By making distance a non-factor in our ministry, we now have the opportunity to help thousands of people worldwide. In fact, several recipients of this premiere issue reside outside of the United States. By eliminating the restrictions of limited local ministry, we can build a worldwide community and help the people in that community better their lives.
Most importantly, our main purpose is to share the Good News that God loves you. He wants to bless your life and make it full and complete. And He wants to give you a life which will last forever, even after you experience physical death. Jesus said, "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16.
Would you like to know how you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Do you want to know more about what it means to become a Christian? Would you like to learn how to be saved? Because Christ died for you, your sins can be forgiven, and because He conquered death you can have eternal life! You don't have to be worthy or deserve it. All you have to do is believe, and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you. The Christian life is a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. And best of all, it is a relationship that will last for all eternity. The purpose of our ministry is to do as much good as we can, wherever we can, as often as we can, for as many people as we can, for as long as we can. Our ministry will offer hope, help, and healing for people in need.
We hope to be a blessing to you and your family, your friends, and anyone you meet in your every day life. If you feel that someone will benefit from receiving good news and encouragement from our ministry, or if they have a need we can meet, we encourage you to share our newsletter with them and encourage them to subscribe so they can start receiving positive encouragement from our ministry.
We believe that our new ministry will help us reach people we could never reach before today: more people than we could ever reach locally.
We are accepting new subscriptions starting today. Subscribing is easy and free: call us, e-mail us, or subscribe online by visiting our web site at www.simplythebestlife.com.
Successful people say, "Don't GO through life. GROW through life." We hope you will grow as a result of reading this newsletter, and we hope you will benefit from each issue.
